Bought a pair of lounge pants/shirt in…

Bought a pair of lounge pants/shirt in store, the size I bought were too small so I went back the next day to exchange for a larger size and they refused! They said I opened the package, well there is no package, they were on a hanger with a plastic sleeve! I had the receipt, unworn and unwashed! All I wanted was a larger size! They were rude and refused to even listen, just kept saying that is our policy!! Never again will I shop there

They could not be less helpful if they tried

I purchased a jumper size S online, click and collect. It was too big, so I took it back to a store, two days after collection, with all tags and documentation intact. They refused to swap it for an XS, despite having that size in stock. Their only solution was for me to purchase the XS, the result being that I would then have two jumpers in the same color, one being too large. I asked for a logical explanation as to why they could not swap one jumper for another, and was told it was not their policy. I will never, ever set foot in a Uniqlo store ahain

The website won't allow a return

I just tried to return two belts. The website won't allow a return - no reason given.

Edit: I contacted them through chat. The customer assistant said it was a website error and organised a return. Hence raised review to 3 stars.

What happened to Uniqlo?

What happened to Uniqlo? I am loyal customer, but Uniqlo has gone downhill in customer service. There is an utter absence of transparent and clear service. It took one year for me to get my money back for returns back in 2021 through persistent personal effort. No guidance or explanation from Uniqlo. With trepidation, I made an order online several days ago, but still haven’t received the email confirmation as promised. I have been chasing them down for an update on the status of my order. It shouldn’t be hard?! Forcing customers to “speak” with useless chat bots that don’t work doesn’t cut it. Uniqlo, invest in service, and stop ignoring your customers.

The worst online and offline shopping…

The worst online and offline shopping experience in the world. Literally all of the times I ordered online I received an email a couple of days later cancelling my order with no reason nor explanation. Customer service incredibly rude both on the phone as well as in the physical stores. Will never be purchasing from Uniqlo again. Awful experience. Time wasters.

Wish I’d read reviews before purchasing…

Wish I’d read reviews before purchasing online!
Placed order on 7/09 and received tracking details on 9/09 all good so far! Sunday 11/09 email to say ‘arriving today’ between 13.30 and 15.30. Changed plans to go out as had no alternative delivery location. No delivery! No further email /text advice but looked at Evri tracking today and says ‘problem with delivery address’ and asking me to contact them. That is where fun began … I spent more than an hour trying to find someone to speak to as problem not covered in FAQ and NO telephone number.

Then searched for Uniqlo customer service number - none. In essence no human contact available whatsoever with either company. After a long search gave up and reluctantly went via Uniqlo chat bot - first told I was out of hours (not) then changed link and had to fill in form and they will contact me ASAP - with lots of caveats which probably mean I shouldn’t expect a resolution/reply any time soon. Utterly outrageous (lack of) service from both companies.

I WILL NEVER EVER ORDER ANYTHING AGAIN FROM ANY COMPANY WHICH DOES NOT HAVE A FUNCTIONING CUSTOMER SERVICE (HUMAN) CONTACT NUMBER….so much of my time wasted unnecessarily. Sure it must be the same for others.

Such a pity as I do like Uniqlo clothes but there are others I like just as much and on the odd occasion I have a query/problem I can speak to someone. Will also avoid Evri like the plague for the same reason.

Cheap clothes used to rip off customers

Cheap clothes, horribly customer service.
We are avid customers and purchase a lot of stuff from Uniqlo regularly for the part 10 - 12 years.
In march 2022, we purchased from Uniqlo westfield store over £600 worth of clothes combined out of which I had 3 pairs of jeans for myself that I got altered. They costed me £100.
The material is soft but the threads keep peeling off and are very visible when worn.
Hardly used 1 or twice each or washed barely, within 3 months I filled their online form in June with zero response from them, called them in July to which the CS agent stated they don't have any records and asked me to send proofs with a picture of jeans in full, the threads ripped, the wash label, the product code label, the receipt, how many times I washed them, how many time I wore them.
Upon repeatedly stating the quality of all 3 pairs is bad and I need a replacement or refund. The CS rep called Vimal, and simply said your case is rejected and we don't see a fault with the pictures you sent us.
He just gave me a link to complain to the ombudsman.
I have asked to speak to a senior manager and escalate my case, only for him to repeatedly email me back with a copy-paste response.
They refuse to call me back or help me further. I will be taking the complaint further.
My whole family won't be buying from them ever again. They've clearly lost loyal customers over just £100 worth of refunds for their faulty products.
I hope people read this review and also see other reviews for Uniqlo which also shows they are selling cheap quality clothes and ripping people off.

I bought two pairs of jeans that needed…

I bought two pairs of jeans that needed to be altered at Uniglo as they don’t too certain leg lengths any more. When I collected them a week later they took 20 minutes to find them in their collection room, as they had given a wrong receipt, when I bought them. When I tried them on at home they hadn't been altered and were the same length as when I bought them. I haven’t had a chance to return to central London so I will need to take them to a local day cleaners to be shortened. This is such a disappointment as I love their jeans and I’m going to have to pay for alterations. Not good Uniglo! I expected more.

Legit company that behaves like scam artists-see review about returning Airism camisoles, for item they themselves called defective, wouldn't refund return shipping until requested 5 separate times, even after agreeing to do so, and still fighting me about refunding original shipping charges
